From sponsored walks to device donations, here's how the Mac Recycle team gives back to the causes we care about.
Three Peaks | Sponsored walk
August 2019
In August 2019, seven of us from the Mac Recycle team tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The challenge took the team 37km, with a total ascent of 3,064 metres.
We completed the challenge in 10 hours and 11 minutes! Over £200 was raised for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Harrogate Ringway | Sponsored walk
August 2020
In August 2020 the Mac Recycle team took on the Harrogate Ringway, a 32km walk around the perimeter of Harrogate, in order to raise money for NHS Charities Together, a focus of our charitable efforts that year.
We were hoping to raise £1,000 for the NHS Charities Together charity, as the team at Mac Recycle acknowledged that the NHS and NHS workers have worked, and continue to work, tirelessly to keep us all safe and healthy throughout the pandemic.

iPad donations
January 2021
In January 2021 we heard in the news that there were children who were having to learn at home but didn't have access to any devices at home that they could continue their learning with.
We decided to act and use our skills and expertise to collect unwanted iPads from the local area and fix them and donate them to schools in the local area for children who needed them.
