Apple iMac
The Apple iMac is Apple’s all-in-one desktop option in the Mac line-up. It is one of Apple’s longest-running lines, starting in 1998 with the iMac G3. There have been eight iterations of the iMac with thenew 24″ iMac retina being the most up to date. For the last decade, the iMac has come in two sizes. the 21.5″ and the 27″, with the 27″ usually being the more powerful option. The iMac name survived the PowerPC to Intel transition with the white body iMacs. They released the black backed iMacs from 2006 to 2009. In 2009 Apple released the iMac Unibody and it 2012 they released the new iMac slim design. Then in 2015, they released the Retina iMac with the same design as its predecessor but with a new and improved retina screen. In sping 2021, Apple announced the release of their new M1 line of 24″ iMacs. These iMacs are available in seven different colours, which is a throwback to the original colourful iMacs.
